Flickr changes image URLs with some glitches

[[blog.forret.com] - music media IT technology belgium brussels] When I checked the image URLs that I was using and the ones that Flickr currently uses, I saw they had changed, and the transition was not flawless (at that point). Where each image used to reside on one of the photosXX.flickr.com servers, they now have the URL http://static.flickr.com/XX/...

Furthermore, given the explosion in data size-- 71K in a 1.6MB file isn't terribly efficient (I'm sure more data could go on, but it is still a huge size explosion)-- the average photography will have a hard time coming up with enough photos that look reasonably real to store any significant quantity of data.

[Weblog.burningbird.net] Burningbird: There was some digression into Kos, the person, which tends to happen in these discussions (women write about women’s issues, liberal male comments, discussion then changes to circle around liberal male’s comments), and Kos’ disingenuous I’m just a boy with a blog remarks were rather entertaining, but MediaGirl focuses in on what I think is the essential element in the discussion: that NARAL’s ad, and working for women’s rights (and gay rights for that matter), is seen as a betrayal of the Democratic Party.
