From my understanding it’s only DSLRs that are having the issues because of the buffers they use and the speed with which they write to the card. I doubt you could return it past 14 days to B and H, even unopened but don’t worry, use it and for the first little while count your shots and see what’s actually on the card when you unload onto your computer.
